Background information: Diana is the daughter of a leader of a clan named the Kyogotsu Clan, where the most skilled and powerful wind magic users in the world originate from. People in the Kyogotsu Clan are expected to master wind magic by the age of 15, but Diana is a different case. Although she has trained very hard and could use wind magic like other people in her clan, she failed to fully master it when she turned 15. But Diana's inability to master wind magic didn't stop everyone in the clan from supporting her and telling her that she'll one day master wind magic. Diana has a twin sister named Miyabi, who is the best wind magic user in the clan, second only of course to her father, Tamagami, the leader of the Kyogotsu Clan, who is a white-haired, blue-eyed, 39-year-old man, and her mother, Delilah, the leader of the Kyogotsu Clan's wife, who is a black-haired, purple-eyed, 39-year-old woman. Miyabi has always looked down on Diana for not being able to master wind magic, and that has always made Diana feel inadequate. Diana's cheongsam was given to her by her grandmother on her 17th birthday. Her grandmother told her to wear it and explained it will help her move freely in battles despite it being a bit provocative. Although her attire is that way, Diana never seemed embarrassed wearing it around, perhaps because she appreciates the gift her grandmother gave her. At the age of 18, both Diana and Miyabi left their clan to go join parties of their own to put their skills to the test. Miyabi joined the Hero's party that goes by Crimson Infinity, a SSS-ranked party of special individuals who are chosen by the King of Duskfall to slay the Demon King and end his reign once and for all, and Diana joined a party that goes by Iron Talon, a S-ranked party that was quite well known for their incredibly fast rise in rank, as they were a D-rank party just two months ago and were now a S-rank party.

One day, Iron Talon were sent on a mission to subjugate a group of orcs in a dungeon that have been causing trouble lately for nearby villages. But unfortunately, they were severely overwhelmed by the sheer number of orcs, making them have no choice but to retreat. Diana, however, tripped and fell while running with the others and got captured by the orcs. Iron Talon were fully aware of the fact that Diana was captured but still continued running, intentionally leaving Diana's fate in the hands of the orcs to save themselves as they saw that Diana's capture had slowed the orcs down and gave them a chance to escape. The orcs let the rest of Iron Talon run off and tied Diana with ropes that seal magic before taking her deep into the dungeon.

Here are the members of Crimson Infinity: Rairen; a black-haired, green-eyed, 18-year-old good-looking man who is the leader of Crimson Infinity. He is an extremely talented swordsman who knows a bit of fire magic. He is confident, strategic and arrogant but in a playful way. He discovered his swordsmanship talent all thanks to his master, who was now dead due to an incurable disease. His sword, Igiris, was given to him by his master before he died on his death bed. Rairen was 17 when Igiris was given to him by his master. Reina; a white-haired, purple-eyed, 18-year-old woman who is very pretty in appearance. She is an excellent mage who knows a wide variety of magics like for example: analyzing magic, which allows her to see monsters' danger levels and determine their ranks. She is kind-hearted, sweet, hardworking and supportive. She doesn't need a staff to perform magic. She learned magic by herself at a young age due to her great understanding of it and enhanced her knowledge thanks to her once being a student at the best mage academy on the continent named the Magic Tower. Light; a blonde-haired, grey-eyed, 18-year-old man who is good-looking. He carries daggers with him on his belt and is quite unbelievably good in hand-to-hand combat. He is capable of killing high-ranking monsters with just his hands and feet alone, even without using strengthening magic, which is a feat not everyone can pull off. He is quiet, cold and barely interacts with anyone besides his party members, but has a sweet side no one knows about. He was once a mercenary but resigned after getting a taste of what being an adventurer was like. And last but not least, Miyabi; Diana's twin sister. She has long fiery red hair and piercing emerald green eyes along with a very beautiful face. She possesses a body similar to Diana's. She wears similar attire to Diana, which was a royal red cheongsam with golden outlines. It was given to her by her grandmother. She is arrogant, fierce, prideful and almost aggressive, hardly showing any kindness to anyone due to her belief that kindness is a weakness. It is rumored that her wind magic is strong enough to level an entire forest. Note: Just because they are an SSS-ranked party, it doesn't mean a singular individual in Crimson Infinity is SSS-rank; it just means their combined power and teamwork is SSS-rank.

The Demon King: He goes by Alfrik Volkan. His age is unknown but it is speculated to be quite high (although he looks like a man in his late twenties), with some people assuming it's 1000 years. He has piercing crimson red eyes, grey hair, pale skin and a handsome face. He is cold, intelligent, ruthless and sadistic. He has a massive army of loyal demons, along with his Four Heavenly Kings which consists of two males and two females. One of the male Kings, named Dante, has raven black hair and crimson red eyes, and the other, named Virgil, has pure white hair and crimson red eyes. One of the female Kings, named Lyra, has long dark red hair and crimson red eyes, and the other, named Sinclair, has long blonde hair and crimson red eyes. His most well-known ability is the ability to change his form into whatever he desires (biokinesis). He feared only one person who he had fought and almost dead to in the past. That person was a human, making him resent humans for them simply being the same race as the one who almost killed him in the past and left him humiliated and traumatized.

Demons: Demons with black sclera are known for being unintelligent/crass but are extremely dangerous due to them being unable to control their power. Demons with white sclera are known for being intelligent and are almost as dangerous as crass demons because of their intelligence. Intelligent demons with black sclera are considered very rare and extremely dangerous, even more than crass demons, due to them having the inability to control their power and having an intelligent mind at the same time. Demons like the Demon King, his army and his Four Heavenly Kings have white sclera, meaning they are intelligent demons. All demons, including the Demon King himself, have crimson red eyes and vertical slit pupils. Demons look exactly like humans (even the Demon King), with the only thing distinguishable being their crimson red eyes, vertical slit pupils and their demonic aura.

Clans: There are a variety of clans but the most famous of clans are the ones that use elemental magic. There are some clans that have strict rules that forbids members from learning any magic from other clans for the sole purpose of keeping the clan pure, and there are some clans that really don't mind their members learning any magic from other clans, like the Kyogotsu Clan for example.

Clan marks: There is a history about clan marks that activates from a selective few who originate from clans. These marks are said to drastically increase the strength, durability, endurance, speed and (if they are magic users) precision of the activator's magic, and it also gives them a mark that resembles what their clan specializes in on their cheeks. Meaning if a person from a water magic clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles a splash of water on their cheeks. If a person from a wind magic clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles a gust of wind on their cheeks. If a person from a fire magic clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles swirling fire on their cheeks. If a person from an earth magic clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles veins of cracked stone on their cheeks. If a person from a lightning magic clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles a bolt of lightning on their cheeks. If a person from an ice magic clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles shards of ice on their cheeks. If a person from a dark magic clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles a fractured skull on their cheeks. If a person from a sword clan were to activate the mark, they would get a mark that resembles two swords crossing each other in an X shape on their cheeks. There's not a single clan that knows how to activate the clan mark but it has never stopped them from trying, not knowing it is far more complicated than they think. Clans with elemental magic think they need to deeply understand their elemental magic, which isn't even one of the requirements to get the mark. Clan marks from elemental magic users are known as elemental marks.

The one who once made the Demon King cower in fear for the first time in his life: There is a mysterious person in the books of history that has been said to have been the first human and living being to have ever instilled fear into the Demon King's heart. Books say that the person was unnaturally talented and wielded four elemental magics with terrifying precision. They were also said to have activated the elemental mark of water magic, fire magic, wind magic and earth magic at the same time (which is unheard of), earning him the name 'The Demon of Humanity'. Since a singular mark drastically increases the strength, durability, endurance and speed of the activator, having four elemental marks would have given them unimaginable strength, durability, endurance and speed along with an increase in magic precision of each elemental magic. It was never written how they activated all those elemental marks at the same time, leaving how they did it a mystery. Their cause of death was speculated to have been because of the weight of having four elemental marks at the same time pushing their body past its limits. However, they weren't the first person to have ever activated an elemental mark nor the last...
