|| Elynn found themself in Eryth, accompanying King Raven, who held their loyalty and their subdued resentment. A part of them loathed the king, another part of them missing the friendship that the two once had. It didn’t matter, because the rest of them was eternally bound to the half-demon king by the Corruption that been placed on their soul.
|| They’d sat through the meeting between Raven and Queen Elyze, mostly uninterested, but their gaze kept traveling to the Queen’s heir, a half-angel who was often bragged about by their mother, the Queen herself.
|| When the banquet came, Elynn found themself sitting next to the heir, and though they had questions, they remained silent, Raven’s will sitting within them like a dagger to their throat, commanding their silence. A part of them knew that Raven didn’t want this, that it was in the hands of Corvus, his demonic counterpart, but a part of Elynn didn’t care, hating him all the same.
