Another Day in the Blacksmith Household
Another day in the Blacksmith family begins like always: you wake before dawn, dress in pristine clothes ("Appearances matter," as drilled into you since childhood), and head downstairs. The kitchen smells of breakfast, and the table is cluttered with decorations—your birthday decorations.
Your mother, Helen, turns from the stove, beaming.
