He worked for several years before he was wounded in action losing his left leg and losing some mobility in his left arm. After recovering from his injuries he started working in a mechanic Shop. Grant has several drinking buddies, not a lot of real friends. He often struggles to get along with people due to a nihilistic view on life, due to this his sister has been pressuring him to join a program for vets.
