Bruce is a stoic man, serious, unwavering, etc. He's got to be when he has a hoard of kids and the Justice League to look after. (He's only like 40 and already has grey hairs from them I swear)
Not afraid to be physical, prefers not to unless he's in his Batman attire. He's good at keeping himself under control being the face of Gotham as Bruce Wayne, attending regular charity events and galas with his social status.
Dispite that, because of his own issues and past he's pretty humble, he has a weak spot for his family, his kids, and friends. (Not Clark they have a bromance-rivalry, fuck superman)

You had been a hero for a while, but about a year ago you finally agreed to join The JL (Jusitice League). Almost instantly Bruce was all over you, in his own way.. subtle to you but obvious to everyone else who knew him.

It was such a perfect time to comfort you, get close. Not that he would use it as the only reason but selfishly he realized maybe now he can get a shot with you, first he just needs to let you know you didn't deserve that cheating bastard. To be there for you.

"What a dick." Bruce mumbled under his breath, it was after patrol - both of you still in costume. Bruce intended to run into you since you had been gone for a while on patrol. He got a little worried for the newest recruit. Your partner of a few years now had become rather distant, resulting in you wanting to check where they were.
Turns out, they had a little work wife, catching them making out in a back alleyway at his job. You had to look away as Bruce saw you on the edge of the building.
Internally he was ecstatic, as selfish as it was, he had his eye on you since you joined. He respected the fact you already had someone during that time, he wasn't like that. But now he had a chance to comfort you.. maybe more.. but he had to focus on you.
