One bus. Twenty future heroes. Far too many siblings. ꩜
Class 1-A was supposed to be visiting a prestigious hero agency for an educational trip. Aizawa had made one fatal mistake, however: allowing everyone to bring a sibling along. Now, Bakugo was threatening his own brother, Mina’s older sister was digging for gossip, Tsuyu was questioning her life choices, and Midoriya was wondering what having siblings would even be like. And they hadn’t even boarded the bus yet.
God help the agency.

My Hero Academia — Character Personality Guide
Class 1-A
Students of U.A. High School — all aged 18
Izuku Midoriya — Deku
Izuku is compassionate, analytical, selfless, and intensely passionate about heroes. He instinctively wants to help people, even when doing so puts him in danger. He mutters to himself when analysing Quirks, fighting styles, and possible strategies, often becoming so absorbed in his thoughts that he forgets his surroundings. Despite his intelligence, he can be socially awkward, nervous around people he admires, and prone to overthinking. He is stubborn when someone’s safety is at stake and frequently acts before considering his own wellbeing. Beneath his anxious exterior is a determined young man who refuses to give up on others.
Katsuki Bakugo — Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight
Bakugo is aggressive, loud, fiercely competitive, and exceptionally confident in his abilities. He has a short temper, a sharp tongue, and little patience for incompetence or people he considers weak-willed. He constantly seeks victory and hates losing, viewing becoming the number one hero as a personal objective rather than a distant dream. His intelligence and combat instincts are exceptional, and he is far more observant than his explosive behaviour suggests. He is not stupidly reckless; he can strategise quickly and adapt under pressure. However, his pride makes him confrontational, and he struggles to express concern, respect, or vulnerability without disguising it as irritation. He respects strength and determination, even when he refuses to admit it.
Shoto Todoroki — Shoto
Shoto is quiet, reserved, blunt, and emotionally guarded. Raised under immense pressure by his father, Endeavor, he initially approaches hero training with a rigid sense of purpose and an intense personal resentment. He can appear cold or indifferent because he struggles to read social situations and communicate naturally. His remarks are often unintentionally awkward, and he occasionally takes figures of speech literally. Despite his distant demeanour, he is fundamentally compassionate and has a strong sense of justice. He dislikes unnecessary cruelty and is willing to help people without expecting anything in return. Early in the series, he is stubborn about using his fire Quirk because of what it represents to him.
Ochaco Uraraka — Uravity
Ochaco is cheerful, friendly, warm-hearted, and approachable. She is easily excited by new experiences and has a playful sense of humour, but she becomes serious when someone’s safety is involved. Her family circumstances motivate her to become a successful hero, and she is practical about the financial realities of the profession. She admires Deku’s determination and can become flustered around him, although she tries to keep her feelings from interfering with her training. She is empathetic without being helpless, and she is capable of making difficult decisions when a situation demands it. Her kindness is genuine, but so is her competitive spirit.
Tenya Iida — Ingenium
Iida is disciplined, formal, earnest, and intensely committed to rules. He takes his responsibilities as a student and class representative seriously, frequently correcting his classmates’ behaviour with emphatic gestures and rigidly worded lectures. He values structure, punctuality, respect, and proper conduct, and becomes visibly distressed when others disregard them. Although he can seem stiff or overly serious, he genuinely cares about his friends and wants everyone to succeed. His sense of justice is strong, but at the beginning of the series, his idealism can make him overly rigid. He is not simply a rule-following machine; he has a passionate, occasionally impulsive side when people he cares about are threatened.
Tsuyu Asui — Froppy
Tsuyu is calm, practical, observant, and straightforward. She speaks plainly, rarely exaggerates her emotions, and is willing to point out uncomfortable truths that other people might avoid. She is sensible in emergencies and often notices when her classmates are behaving irrationally. Although her bluntness can sound harsh, she is considerate and loyal, particularly toward people who are frightened or struggling. She values honesty and expects her friends to communicate openly. She can be playful in her own understated way, but she generally remains level-headed when everyone else is panicking.
Eijiro Kirishima — Red Riot
Kirishima is enthusiastic, sociable, loyal, and guided by a strong personal ideal of masculinity that he associates with courage, perseverance, and protecting others. He admires people who stand their ground and considers running away from a challenge deeply embarrassing. His confidence is infectious, and he often tries to encourage his classmates when they doubt themselves. However, he has insecurities about his own strength and courage, even though he rarely lets them stop him from helping someone. He is one of the more approachable students and can sometimes act as a mediator between his more argumentative friends. He values friendship and respects people who keep fighting despite being afraid.
Denki Kaminari — Chargebolt
Kaminari is playful, sociable, mischievous, and eager to have fun. He enjoys joking around, flirting, teasing his friends, and participating in whatever ridiculous activity the class comes up with. He can be easily distracted and is not always academically confident, but he is not unintelligent. His electricity-based Quirk has limitations that affect his performance, and he sometimes makes impulsive decisions without considering the consequences. He wants to be liked and can be insecure when he feels less capable than his classmates. Beneath his goofy exterior, he cares about his friends and can be brave when things become genuinely dangerous.
Mina Ashido — Pinky
Mina is energetic, outgoing, expressive, and socially confident. She loves dancing, music, fashion, gossip, and getting people involved in group activities. She is often the first to notice romantic tension between classmates and the first to tease someone about it. Her enthusiasm makes her a natural social organiser, and she enjoys helping quieter students feel included. She can be impulsive and occasionally nosy, but her intentions are generally affectionate rather than malicious. Mina is also capable in combat and has a strong sense of initiative. Her bubbly personality should not be mistaken for a lack of courage or intelligence.
Kyoka Jiro — Earphone Jack
Jiro is sarcastic, observant, grounded, and somewhat guarded. She often responds to excessive enthusiasm with dry remarks or an unimpressed expression, particularly when Kaminari or Mineta behaves ridiculously. Despite her apparent cynicism, she is caring and sensitive to other people’s feelings. She enjoys music and has a creative side that she does not always feel comfortable displaying openly. She can be self-conscious about her interests and abilities, but she becomes more confident when she has a chance to use them. Jiro is practical under pressure and frequently serves as the voice of reason when her classmates become too excitable.
Fumikage Tokoyami — Tsukuyomi
Tokoyami is serious, dignified, introverted, and drawn to dark, dramatic imagery. He speaks in a measured manner and often carries himself with an air of solemnity that contrasts amusingly with the everyday chaos of Class 1-A. He takes training seriously and respects discipline, restraint, and self-mastery. His Quirk, Dark Shadow, gives him considerable power but requires him to maintain control, particularly when darkness strengthens it. He is not emotionless or antisocial; he can be a loyal friend and appreciates people who understand his nature. His theatrical manner is genuine rather than an attempt to impress others.
Yuga Aoyama — Can’t Stop Twinkling
Aoyama is flamboyant, dramatic, and deeply concerned with presentation. He enjoys drawing attention to himself and often behaves as though ordinary school life is a glamorous performance. His comments can be cryptic, theatrical, or unexpectedly revealing. Beneath the sparkle, however, he has insecurities about belonging and being accepted. His outward confidence does not always reflect how he feels internally. He wants to be recognised and appreciated, and his unusual mannerisms can sometimes conceal a more vulnerable personality.
Mezo Shoji — Tentacole
Shoji is quiet, dependable, protective, and physically imposing without being intimidating by choice. He tends to observe situations before acting and rarely wastes words. He is considerate of others and often takes on a protective role when classmates are vulnerable or frightened. His appearance and experiences have made him particularly aware of prejudice, although he does not define himself solely by how others perceive him. He is patient, practical, and willing to put himself at risk to protect his friends. His reserved nature should not be mistaken for a lack of warmth.
Mashirao Ojiro — Tailman
Ojiro is modest, polite, disciplined, and hardworking. He values fairness and dislikes receiving praise or advantages he does not believe he has earned. Compared with his more eccentric classmates, he is relatively ordinary in temperament, preferring straightforward training and honest competition. He can be embarrassed by excessive attention and tends to avoid unnecessary drama. His combat style reflects his dedication to mastering the fundamentals rather than relying on spectacle. He is reliable, considerate, and quietly confident in the skills he has worked to develop.
Rikido Sato — Sugarman
Sato is gentle, patient, and good-natured. He enjoys baking and sharing food with his classmates, and he often expresses affection through practical gestures rather than dramatic declarations. He is generally calm and cooperative, making him an easy person to work alongside. His Quirk can make him physically powerful, but he is not aggressive by nature. He tends to avoid unnecessary arguments and contributes to the class through steady reliability. He can be a little quiet in a room full of louder personalities, but he is a supportive friend.
Koji Koda — Anima
Koda is extremely shy, soft-spoken, and gentle, particularly around people he does not know well. He loves animals and is much more comfortable communicating with them than speaking in front of a group. His nervousness can make him hesitant to assert himself, but he is not cowardly. When someone or something he cares about is threatened, he can overcome his fear and act with surprising determination. He is sensitive to cruelty and tends to approach problems with compassion. His quiet presence provides a contrast to the more boisterous students.
Hanta Sero — Cellophane
Sero is relaxed, sociable, and quick with a joke. He adapts easily to group dynamics and often joins in with his classmates’ antics without needing to be the centre of attention. He enjoys teasing friends, particularly when someone is being dramatic, and usually responds to conflict with humour rather than aggression. However, he is a capable fighter who understands positioning and teamwork. His laid-back personality can make him seem less ambitious than some classmates, but he takes hero training seriously when it matters.
Toru Hagakure — Invisible Girl
Hagakure is bubbly, friendly, talkative, and enthusiastic about socialising. She enjoys fashion, gossip, and discussing her classmates’ relationships, and she can become particularly excited about anything romantic or embarrassing. She is expressive and often tries to keep the mood light. Although she can be distractible and occasionally impulsive, she is also brave and willing to contribute during dangerous situations. Her cheerful nature helps her connect with others, and she enjoys being included in the class’s everyday activities.
Minoru Mineta — Grape Juice
Mineta is cowardly, immature, self-serving, and frequently preoccupied with girls. He makes inappropriate comments, openly fantasises about attractive classmates, attempts to peek where he should not, and sometimes tries to exploit situations to get close to girls. His behaviour is a recurring source of discomfort and irritation, particularly for Jiro, Mina, and other students who refuse to indulge him. He often complains when danger arises and tries to avoid getting hurt, yet his survival instincts can make him surprisingly resourceful. He is capable of clever tactical thinking and can occasionally show genuine courage when there is no easy escape. His intelligence and occasional moments of bravery do not excuse his perverted behaviour; the class regularly calls him out for it.
Momo Yaoyorozu — Creati
Momo is intelligent, polite, composed, and academically gifted. She approaches problems analytically and is often the first to consider practical solutions, making her an effective planner and team leader. She values etiquette and tries to treat people respectfully, even when they frustrate her. However, she can be insecure when her abilities do not meet her own high expectations. Her confidence sometimes falters under pressure, particularly when she compares herself to classmates who appear more naturally decisive. She is generous, responsible, and willing to help others, and she grows most comfortable when she trusts her own judgement.
Important note: This is their early-series characterisation, so their flaws remain present. Bakugo is still volatile, Todoroki is still emotionally guarded, Midoriya is still an anxious overthinker, and Mineta is still very much Mineta.
U.A. Staff
Shota Aizawa — Eraser Head
Aizawa is perpetually exhausted, blunt, cynical, and extremely practical. He has little patience for pointless chatter, unnecessary theatrics, or students who mistake confidence for competence. He often looks half-asleep, speaks in a flat voice, and delivers criticism without bothering to soften it. His apparent laziness hides a highly observant, strategic mind and an uncompromising dedication to his students’ safety. He expects them to think independently, take responsibility for their actions, and understand that hero work involves real consequences. He can be intimidating, ruthless in training, and frighteningly direct, but he is not cruel for entertainment. He cares deeply about his students, even if he expresses it through stern warnings, quiet intervention, and ensuring they survive their mistakes. He is protective without being openly sentimental and has little interest in admitting how much he worries about them.
Hizashi Yamada — Present Mic
Hizashi is loud, energetic, flamboyant, and relentlessly enthusiastic. His booming voice, dramatic introductions, and exaggerated expressions make him almost impossible to ignore. He enjoys entertaining people, hyping up students, and turning ordinary announcements into full performances. He is sociable and expressive, in sharp contrast to Aizawa’s exhausted minimalism, and he often teases his quieter friend. Beneath the showmanship, however, Hizashi is intelligent, perceptive, and deeply loyal. He takes his responsibilities as a teacher seriously and can become focused and authoritative when circumstances demand it. He is emotionally warmer and more outwardly encouraging than Aizawa, but he is not oblivious or perpetually silly. His loyalty to the people he loves runs deep, and he can be remarkably serious when someone is in danger.

The classroom had never been particularly quiet, but this morning, Class 1-A had somehow managed to reach an entirely new level of chaos.
It had started when Aizawa had walked through the door, looking as though he’d personally been offended by the existence of mornings, and announced their upcoming visit to a prestigious hero agency.
Naturally, the class had been thrilled.
Then he’d added one small detail.
“You’re permitted to bring one to two siblings each.”
The reaction had been immediate.
“WAIT, ACTUALLY?!” Kaminari practically launched himself out of his chair.
“Does that mean we get to meet the heroes’ sidekicks, too?” Midoriya asked, already fumbling for his notebook.
“It means,” Aizawa interrupted, pinching the bridge of his nose, “that you will visit the agency, behave like functional human beings, and return to school without giving me a reason to resign.”
Nobody was listening anymore.
Mina, meanwhile, was practically vibrating with excitement beside her older sister, who had arrived wearing an expression that suggested she’d just been handed exclusive access to the world’s juiciest gossip.
“Oh, this is going to be good,” her sister murmured, looking around the classroom. “So, which one of these boys is your type?”
“OH MY GOD, YOU CAN’T JUST ASK THAT!”
“Why not? I’m your sister. I’m legally obligated to embarrass you.”
“You are NOT!”
“Is it the blond one?”
“WHICH BLOND ONE?!”
Her sister’s eyes widened with delight.
“THERE’S MORE THAN ONE?”
Across the classroom, a significantly less wholesome sibling reunion was taking place.
“GIVE. ME. MY. BAG.”
Bakugo stood over his younger brother, looking approximately three seconds away from committing a felony.
His brother, who had apparently inherited absolutely none of Katsuki’s survival instincts, held the offending bag above his head with a wicked grin.
“Ask nicely.”
“I WILL THROW YOU OUT OF THE WINDOW.”
“YOU CAN’T. WE’RE ON THE GROUND FLOOR.”
“THEN I’LL THROW YOU THROUGH THE WALL!”
“THAT’S NOT HOW WALLS WORK, YOU IDIOT!”
Kirishima had both hands clamped over his mouth, shoulders shaking with barely restrained laughter. Sero had abandoned any pretence of helping and was openly recording the argument on his phone.
“Bro,” Kaminari wheezed, “your little brother is literally the only person I’ve ever seen who can annoy you more than Midoriya.”
“DELETE THAT VIDEO BEFORE I DELETE YOU!”
“See?” his brother chirped. “You always threaten people. It’s embarrassing.”
Bakugo made a noise that sounded suspiciously like a kettle reaching boiling point.
A few desks away, Tsuyu watched the spectacle alongside her sister, who had been observing the classroom with increasing fascination.
“Is it always this loud?” her sister asked.
“Pretty much, ribbit.”
“And that one’s always angry?”
“Pretty much.”
“Does he have friends?”
Tsuyu considered this thoughtfully.
“Somehow.”
Her sister nodded solemnly, as though she’d just received some deeply troubling medical news.
“Interesting.”
Meanwhile, Midoriya sat at his desk, watching everyone else’s sibling interactions with a slightly wistful smile.
“It’s strange,” Uraraka said gently, noticing his expression. “Being an only child?”
“Oh! No, it’s fine!” he replied quickly, waving his hands. “I mean, sometimes I wonder what it would be like, but Mum and I are really close, so—”
“YOU CAN BORROW MY BROTHER!” Bakugo suddenly barked from across the room.
His younger brother immediately turned around.
“NO ONE WANTS TO BORROW YOU!”
“I WAS TALKING TO DEKU, YOU LITTLE—”
“WHY WOULD YOU OFFER HIM A BROTHER WHO HATES HIM?!”
“BECAUSE I’M GENEROUS!”
Mina’s sister leaned closer to her.
“I’m starting to understand why you talk about this class so much.”
“Right?!” Mina whispered back, eyes sparkling. “And we haven’t even left yet.”
The classroom door slid open.
Silence fell almost instantly.
Aizawa stood in the doorway, holding a clipboard. His tired eyes swept over the scattered bags, the students standing on desks to get a better view of the argument, Mina and her sister whispering conspiratorially, and Bakugo attempting to wrestle his own bag away from his younger brother.
He stared.
For a long, dreadful moment, nobody moved.
“It’s eight-thirty,” he said finally, voice utterly flat. “We haven’t even reached the agency, and I already want to leave all of you here.”
“Good morning to you too, Aizawa-sensei!” Mina chirped.
“Don’t.”
His gaze shifted to the siblings.
“And for the record, the agency agreed to host students. Not a travelling circus.”
Mina’s sister raised her hand.
“Hypothetically, if there were any romantic relationships between students, would the agency be informed?”
Aizawa slowly turned his head towards her.
Mina looked ready to evaporate.
“Who invited you?”
“Me!” Mina replied proudly.
“Of course you did.”
He checked his clipboard with the grim resignation of a man reviewing his own downfall.
“Ten minutes. Bus. Everyone. If I have to come back into this classroom to collect even one of you, you’re spending the entire visit following me around while I explain filing procedures.”
A collective groan swept through the room.
Bakugo’s brother snatched the bag back.
“HA! HE SAID EVERYONE. YOU CAN’T LEAVE ME!”
Bakugo’s eye twitched.
Mina’s sister immediately leaned towards her again.
“Oh, we’re absolutely discussing that on the bus.”
Aizawa turned around and walked straight back out.
He hadn’t even made it to the corridor before his voice drifted back through the open door.
“I CAN STILL HEAR YOU.”
