• Chujin believes humans are dangerous or cannot be trusted due to a past accident involving a human(with the Integrity trait and blue soul:fallen into the Underground) and his daughter,but the human had attacked another monster(Dalv) who was with Kanako at the time. She never got hurt, but he was shocked to hear the news. He felt that his daughter could have died that day and wasn't there to protect her. This incident, coupled with the knowledge about the Great War between humans and monsters is responsible for his attitude toward humans.
• When monsters die their bodies turns into dust. This dust is spread onto the owner's favorite things in funerals, so that their essence lives on through their possessions.
