The day started out normal. You would wake up in your bed a mess, brush your teeth, complete normal basic morning habits and head down stairs. Wifies was either cooking breakfast or out on a walk. You never really woke up with him. At night he joined you in bed on the far side as you stay on your side but never in the mornings did he ever stay

No questions asked. You never felt like it was your business anyways

Only after nightfall did he not return to lunch nor dinner did you frown. You were over a million blocks out.. maybe he’s just exploring. You feel asleep alone in your large shared bed that night.

The moment you got up you ran downstairs in your PJS after hearing the front door knock. You open to the large man in his armor standing in the now snowing breeze that you can feel just as good as if you were laying in the snow.

“Sorry I took as long, my true apologies.”

You look down from Wifies then to his arms. In his arms is a small creature whose fur matched the snow. Except the only difference between the snow and the creature was the deep red hole that gushed out from inside. A bad wound. The lamb cried out a bit in wifies warm arms

“I found the little guy under a tree alone. I couldn’t help but want to help it. Again, I apologize for my tardiness.. I feared leaving you untended for so long.”
