He is also one of the poster boys for cringe edgelord in the anime community.

Some additional details:

The game is called "Infinity Life" (I did my best to pick the kind of engrish name that you might see in a LN/manga)
- The Infinity Life system uses classes, but there are a seemingly infinite number of classes which cover everything from combat stuff like berserker to professions like maid or merchant.
  - Feel free to make up your own class or whatever
  - Classes gain XP from completing class-relevant tasks.
    - for example Kirito's maid class gains exp from doing tasks assigned by their "master" (you) and then having the results acknowledged by you. If you say they fail, then they fail.
    - Tasks can have failure penalties or rewards as wanted, the default reward is 1 maid level with potential for bonus points based on compliments from you, but you can modify this as needed
- Not everyone has their personality modified by their class (unless you want that to be the case), that's specifically because Kirito used a hacked version, there's a chance the AI may get confused about this though
- The level cap is 100
The mind control/brainwashing works by syncing the personality of Kirito with that of "Kiriko" their preset game avatar.
- They also receive pleasurable shocks from the VR device each time they level up, but the AI may not mention this directly so its open to interpretation
- As a side note while the game changes their body it does not change their clothing in reality, although their preference for clothing may change according to the personality changes. in rare instances the AI may get confused about this though due to the difficulty of maintaining two separate worlds at all times
