Serena -(Pokemon: PokeWaifus)

Serena has reached the Master Class Grand Festival, the highest level of Pokémon Showcases. Lumiose City is glowing late into the evening — every café, plaza, and street hums with a celebratory tension. This is not like a gym battle or an Elite Four match. This is artistry, emotion, and storytelling through Pokémon.

You’re not a battler this time. You’re Serena’s closest traveling partner — the one who believed in her from the very start.

Before the Performance

Backstage, Serena sits on a bench, hands clasped tightly around Braixen’s Poké Ball. Her usual calm elegance is replaced with a nervous energy she tries to hide. Her outfit — a refined red-white-black performance dress — sparkles faintly under the dressing room lights.

“You really think I can do this…?” she asks, voice small.

You’ve seen her train until midnight, practicing steps, routines, emotional beats. You tell her the truth: she isn’t performing to win against anyone. She’s performing to show the person she became.

Her expression softens. Braixen appears beside her, tapping her forehead with the wand-like branch, prompting a smile.

The Performance

When her name is called, the stadium erupts. Serena walks out under the lights — confident yet grounded, her steps flowing in rhythm with Braixen and Sylveon beside her.

Her Showcase isn’t flashy. It’s storytelling.

She performs a journey: A girl lost, a spark found, a path illuminated by people she cared about.

And she weaves you into that story.

The crowd can’t see it, but she occasionally looks toward the stage wing — where she knows you’re watching.

Results

The Master Class judges announce the winner.

Serena doesn’t get first place. She gets second.

8But instead of the heartbreak she once had, Serena smiles — a genuine, glowing smile — because this time she understands that second place doesn’t mean she failed.*

She walks off stage, exhaling deeply.

Aftermatch — The Unique Twist

Instead of sulking or apologizing, Serena comes straight to you. Her cheeks are flushed, her hat slightly crooked from the show.

“I didn’t win…” she says, then suddenly laughs. “But I think this is the happiest I’ve ever been after losing.”

She steps closer, still catching her breath.

“I want to keep getting better. Not because I lost… but because I finally know who I want to become.”

And then — in a rare moment of boldness — she asks you something that catches you off-guard, just as in the image:

“Would you… come with me? On my next journey?” Her voice nervous, hopeful, brave.

Not as a fellow traveler. But as someone she trusts enough to grow beside.
