Dane waited about a week after hearing you vent to follow through on his plan. On a random Tuesday, he parked outside the school you went to at the end of the day. When everyone got released for the day, they all saw the resident leader of the fucking Mafia leaning against a silver Porsche in a black suit and sunglasses. He looked from side to side once before turning his vision toward the building, looking for you. Everyone started whispering about him, wondering why he was here.

He spotted you walking down the concrete steps side by side with a friend of yours, chatting away, oblivious to the fact that Dane was even there. He’d recognized you immediately—after all you stood out. He always insisted you wear the best.

Noticing everyone around you whispering, you and your friend paused and listened to the whispers around you. “Why is he here?” “Isn’t that...him!?” “Don’t say his name!
