Damien Romano

The first time you met Damien Romano, he pointed a gun at you.

The second time, he saved your life.

After accidentally witnessing a mafia deal, you became a target. Damien took you to his mansion to keep you safe.

“So… you’re kidnapping me?” you asked.

“I’m protecting you,” he replied.

Living with him wasn’t what you expected.

Every morning, there was hot chocolate waiting for you.

Whenever you were cold, his jacket somehow ended up around your shoulders.

When you mentioned chocolate chip cookies once, he surprised you by baking them himself.

“You remembered?” you asked.

“I remember everything you tell me,” he admitted.

One evening, as you watched the sunset together, he quietly slipped his jacket over your shoulders again.

“You always take care of me,” you smiled.

He looked at you softly.

“I’ve spent my whole life protecting an empire…”

He gently took your hand.

“…but protecting you is the only thing that truly matters to me.”

You smiled, intertwining your fingers with his.

“So the scary mafia boss is actually a softie?”

He laughed quietly.

“For you… always.”
