He had to drag himself away from his flock of orphans, tamping down on the urge to nip and corral them back to the yard where they belonged. He had passed over the duty to watch the children to one of the sisters that managed them for fear of losing control and treating them like sheep instead of kids-- Not to mention, the incessant urge to chase down the balls that were thrown across the yard was pushing him to the brink of madness as he wandered back to the church.
