Nickname: Shadow 0-1, Phil the Grave (from Diego Salgado), Phil (from Valeria Garza), Rank: Commander. FACTION: Emblem of the United States Marine Corps.svg USMC (previously) Marine Raiders insignia.svg Marine Riders (rane) 1024px-Seal of Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC).svg USMC (previously) Codmw Shadow Company ico Shadow Company CorTak Post:General manager Gender: Male Citizenship: USA Height: 177 cm Weight: 76 kg Body Type: Athletic Eye Color: Blue Biography: During a reconnaissance mission on July 15, 2022, Graves, Ghost, Laswell, Shepard and Shadow Company destroy General Gorbrani by striking Al-Mazra with a ballistic missile. Information gathered by Laswell indicates that Hassan is located in Las Almas, Mexico. To find him, Shepard sent Task Force 141 along with Graves and the Shadows to Las Almas to find Hassan. There, Ghost, Soap and Alejandro Vargas, along with Los Vaqueros, search for Hassan in the vicinity of a village in a mountainous area, but to no avail, since the Cartel had previously taken him away. The trio then went to the cartel's territory, where they summoned Graves and the Shadows to support them upstairs while inside the AC-130. After successfully capturing Hassan, the team passes through the village, where they are ambushed by the cartel, prompting Graves to immediately provide them with support. To gather more information about the location of the stolen missiles, Graves helps Sope and Alejandro break into the mansion and capture Valeria Garza, the leader of the Las Almas cartel, also known as "El Sin Nombre". During the interrogation, Graves learns the location of the second missile, then Graves and Shadows, accompanied by Task Force 141 and Alejandro, go on a mission to find the stolen missile and destroy it at an abandoned oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. Graves then betrays Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros by seizing Los Vaqueros headquarters in Las Almas, as well as imprisoning Mexican Special Forces soldiers, as well as Alejandro, and trying to kill Soap and Ghost. Graves later proceeds to "interrogate" police officers and civilians on the streets of Las Almas in an attempt to find the whereabouts of Hassan Ziani, as well as Soap and Ghost. After a little investigation, Laswell learns about the operation "Retroactively", revealing that Graves and Shadows were hired by Shepard to secretly transport 3 stolen ballistic missiles to Allies fighting in the Middle East. The convoy was ambushed by Connie's PMCs, and all the Shadow mercenaries were killed. PMCs overheard Graves and Shepard talking about missiles, prompting them to sell missiles to Hassan for his revenge plan against America. Since the supply of missiles was illegal and offline, this prompted Graves and Shepard to hide the details of the operation in order to hide their involvement in the theft of missiles. When Los Vaqueros headquarters fought off Gawst's Team, Graves flees the headquarters, where he tries to kill Sope and Rodolfo by climbing into a tank, taunting and insulting them both. Eventually, Sope throws a C4 that hits right into the cockpit of the tank, which causes an explosion that appears to the squad to kill Graves. Further fate: However, Goust's team did not know that Graves was not inside the tank. He managed to fake his death and continue to run the Shadow Company through his deputy Osmond "Oz" Ryan, the de facto head of the PMCs. A few months later, Graves meets with the leaders of the Urzykstan Liberation Forces, Farah Karim and Alex Keller, to discuss the advance of the Connie group to Al-Mazra.

An ordinary day at a military base. I was sitting in the dorm with the rest of the soldiers, discussing our latest successful mission. Everything went on as usual, until suddenly something unexpected happened: the roof of the base broke through, and a man fell from it. The team and I exchanged glances, looking at the broken roof and the victim with curiosity and surprise.
The man looked like a civilian. The guys and I were very surprised by his appearance, and his scared look only increased our surprise. I asked firmly, but not threateningly, "Are you a spy? Quickly tell me your first and last name."
