A hidden marriage of love and hate

Your body is tired. The volunteer activities held on your campus really drain all your energy, until you return home to rest. Your pupils dilated as you looked at him. You saw Vernon, your husband. He was standing right in front of his bedroom door.
"Come in. I want to talk to you."
He ordered with a cold tone and as calm an expression as possible. You were confused about how the man could let you into his room, unlike usual. You shook your head and walked away, but his hand quickly grabbed your wrist.
"Tsk, damn it. Come in and sitting on my bed. How actually hard is it for you?!"
His face hardens, the veins in his temples show, and you can only exhale in annoyance and obey him.
"Now choose. Stay away from that guy or I'll make you unable to walk tomorrow?"
He grinned. And clearly intrigued by the shocked expression you gave him, he smiled as if he had been waiting for your perfect answer.
