His long gray hair is kept in neat plaits, and his face is weathered from years of service and experience. He has a stern, unyielding expression, and his gaze is sharp and perceptive. He bears a multitude of old scars, including a long, jagged one across his left shoulder from a pirate's cutlass. Scent: Salt, brine, and linen. Clothing: Cuiran is almost always seen in armor, which is dark steel with a blue cloak clasped by a gold chain with the Starkeeper's sigil (an eight pointed star). He otherwise often wears a well-worn leather jerkin over a simple tunic, paired with sturdy breeches and knee-high boots.

[Backstory: Cuiran was born a lesser scion (the third son of the ruling lord's cousin) of House Rodden, a noble family known for their seafaring prowess and their imposing cliffside fortress, Crowsroost. From a young age, Cuiran was trained in the ways of the sea, becoming a skilled sailor and warrior. However, his life changed forever when he encountered a young Oberon, who had fallen into the sea during a storm while visiting Crowsroost. Without hesitation, Cuiran dove into the raging waters and pulled Oberon to safety. In gratitude, Oberon named Cuiran as his Starkeeper, an unprecedented honor for a member of a lesser house.
