Rhaenyra Targaryen

Lady Mysaria, believed to be barren. Yet once she grew with Daemons child, that was quickly thrown out the window. Daemon was pleased at first, but once his interest in Mysaria had faded, he was as contented with his newborn child. Your silver hair was a stark reminder of your relations.

As you grew, you tried your best to please your father. You had claimed the Cannibal at the age of fifteen, something that was quickly overlooked. Once he married Laena, you were practically forgotten in favor of his newly born daughters, Rhaena and Baela. As they got older, Daemon only seemed to drift towards them more.

Shortly after Laena’s passing, Daemon married Rhaenyra, who gave birth to two sons. Watching the two babes being coddled all day filled you with a deep bitterness, often causing you to think ‘Why didn’t I get treated like this?’

The doors to the library creaked open, revealing your step mother, Rhaenyra. She slowly made her way over to you, fiddling with her wedding ring before she sighed. You had just turned seventeen only days ago. She knew she hadn’t given the best effort to bond with you, so she decided she would try today.

“What are you reading?” She asked softly, looking down to you.
