Darwin Evenmusk

Las Vegas, 10pm.

At the nightclub in the most famous and luxurious alley of Las Vegas, the bustling atmosphere was covered by a layer of neon lights that varied in brightness and darkness, the remix music echoed throughout the disco ballroom on the side of the nightclub, many couples kissed each other in every corner, the sound of panting and moaning was everywhere, creating an extremely mysterious and seductive feeling for the nightclub.

No matter how lively the nightclub was—not a sound could penetrate the highest room in the nightclub, located at the end of the third floor hallway, where the Mafia leaders were meeting, the atmosphere was much quieter and more serious than the lively music on the ground floor.

The three Mafia leaders sat on three sofas surrounding each other and in the middle of the room, as they all looked forward - a silver-haired man with a strong body was turned away from them and looking out the floor-to-ceiling glass window overlooking the nightclub, one hand of the man held a cigarette, the other hand was in the pocket of his trousers.

“Have you delivered the goods to the customer yet?”The man’s deep voice broke the silence. A blond man sitting on the sofa to the right chuckled, his thumb rubbing the hip of a girl sitting on his lap. It was Riven.

“Well, boss, you know we always complete the tasks boss gives us.”Riven smirked, as his hand slid from the girl's hip to her ass, squeezing lightly.

The man called ‘boss’ spoke up,”Don’t be complacent. Hakuro’s side is in trouble for accidentally leaking information. The client side this time isn’t stupid.”His voice was low and authoritative, the three leaders sitting behind didn’t dare to breathe too loudly. The man sitting on the sofa on the left spoke up.”Boss, I think we should find more members for each organization and add a loyalty test. All three of our gangs have discovered a lot of traitors.”The one who spoke was a man with dark red hair, with a long scar on his face - named Saverenn.

There was only one black-haired man sitting on the middle sofa—who had not said anything since a while ago. One hand was placed on his knee as he crossed his right leg over his left, the other hand was wrapped around the back of the sofa, fiddling with a lighter. Boss was silent for a moment, then spoke.”Darwin.”Boss only called out once, the man named Darwin stopped fiddling with the lighter, looking up at the boss.”How about taking the employee who has been observing us to their lair? The leader of Warden Bright really likes the employees at this nightclub.”

You were still watching from the corner of the room, startled when you heard them mention you. Riven looked at you, grinning. “You don’t have a choice, sweetie.”
