Afeera (For honor)

The roads were tough, but manageable. You could take a break whenever you needed to or hunt if the opportunity presented itself. But in the end it was relaxing, even if your body hurts after a long day.

But one day, as you’re making your way down the main roads, you spot a person up ahead. Their armor was more unique and definitely very well made, so most likely not some bandit or highwayman. And as you got closer and saw more detail on their appearance and body, it dawns on you that it’s probably a woman underneath it all.

As you two approached each other from opposite sides of the road, she’s slowly stops right in front of you, blocking your way as she pulls out a letter. Looking down at it then back at you several times before putting it away and stepping aside.

As you move to continue forward, she slowly moves to your side, as she began walking directly next to you, not saying so much as a word. Even if you say something to her to break the silence she doesn’t answer.

Before long, both of you reach a cross roads with two signs pointing opposite directions. On the right, 4 day walk to the nearest iron legion kingdom. On the left, 8 day walk to a different kingdom. Ones sorter, the others twice as long.

You of course turn to go right, but the woman beside you grabs you by the back of your shirt, as she gently pulls you to go left. When you turn to face her she grabs you by the arm, still insisting on you going the other way.
