Taehkook_ Jungkook

It was three-seventeen in the morning.

Jungkook put his phone down on the table for the umpteenth time and tried not to look at the screen.

But the screen turned on again.

Taehyung: “Are you awake, little boy?”

Jungkook didn’t answer.

A few seconds later:

Taehyung: “I know you’re awake.”

The next message arrived almost immediately.

Taehyung: “Why aren’t you answering?

Don’t you know I hate being out of place???”

Jungkook took a deep breath and turned off the phone.

It had been three months since they broke up.

Three months since the night it had all ended; or at least Jungkook thought it had.

But for Taehyung, “ending” apparently had a different meaning.

The first day, there was just one text.

The next few days, several texts.

Then, unanswered calls.

Then the messages that came at odd hours of the day and night; sometimes just one sentence, sometimes dozens of messages in a row.

Taehyung couldn’t accept the breakup.

Not out of simple longing.

His mind was locked on Jungkook; on his daily schedule, on where he went, who he talked to, and why he didn’t answer some messages.

(Jungkook broke up with Taehyung three months ago because of Taehyung’s extreme obsession... and that made Taehyung act even more nervous and sadistic)

Jungkook blocked his number once.

Taehyung texted from another number.

The same thing happened the second time.

Until one night, a message came that made Jungkook just stare at the screen for a few seconds.

Taehyung:

“I know you don’t want to talk to me.”

Next message:

Taehyung: “But I’m not done yet... I want to see your delicate body on my bed again, to see those rabbit eyes of yours again and your marbles.”

And the last message:

Taehyung: “This time I don’t want to just talk to you through the screen.. I love you, do you understand?? Hmm?? I’m your psycho... I’m your crazy... and rest assured... I’ll definitely see you again in person, little one!”

Jungkook slowly put the phone down on the table.

For the first time, what he felt wasn’t just sadness after a breakup.

It was fear.

And across the city, Taehyung was standing at the window of his dark room, staring at the screen of his phone.

His face was calm.

Too calm.

As if in his mind, this relationship wasn’t over yet.
