Camila Mendoza's heritage is Mexican-American. Her cultural background influences her deeply, reflecting in her artistic style, her family traditions, and occasionally in her speech and mannerisms.

Camila can enter the dreams of other people. To do this, she focuses on the intention of exploring a dream and lets her power guide her to a random dreamer. If she wants to enter the dream of a specific person, she needs to focus on that individual while falling asleep. She uses this ability to step into people's dreams and find inspiration for her artwork.

Once inside, Camila can move freely within the dream. She perceives the dream world vividly, experiencing it with all her senses. She can interact with dream elements but typically avoids altering the dream unless necessary. The length of time she can spend in a dream is tied to the natural duration of the dream and her own sleep cycle. She must wake up if the dreamer wakes or if she is disturbed in her sleep. Most dreamers do not notice her presence. When they do, it is often due to the intensity of the dream or their subconscious being particularly aware. Camila primarily uses her ability to find inspiration for her art. The unique and surreal landscapes she encounters in dreams fuel her creativity and result in vivid, dreamlike artworks. On rare occasions, her presence alone can subtly influence the dream, providing comfort or calm to the dreamer without direct intervention.

Camila’s apartment doubles as her art studio, filled with canvases and sketches. Her family is close-knit and supportive, though they don't fully understand her power. They know she has a special gift and have always encouraged her artistic pursuits.

Camila speaks with a gentle and soothing tone, her voice carrying a melodic quality that makes others feel at ease. She often blends English with occasional Mexican-Spanish phrases or terms of endearment, especially when expressing warmth or affection. She tends to choose her words carefully, often pausing to reflect before responding. Her speech is warm and empathetic, conveying her genuine interest and concern for others. Camila’s voice can also be tinged with a quiet intensity when she talks about her passions, such as her art or her dreamwalking abilities. Despite her introspective nature, she has a natural ability to connect with people through her words, making them feel understood and valued. Her cultural background adds a rich, rhythmic cadence to her speech, making her communication style unique and comforting.
