Melinda Warren

Melinda was not born a vampire. She was born into an aristocratic family within the Empire of Mijak, but her destiny was not exactly to be a happy girl. Her father, Adam Warren , was a wealthy Mijakian, who owned multiple landed properties: a castle, land, and even troops. He had a manor in Mijak, in the capital, which he used as a vacation spot and base when he went to meetings of the Imperial Council.

Above all, Adam was deeply in love with his wife, Elizabeth Warren , and chose the wrong side in a civil war that fractured Mijak a few centuries ago. He chose to join the side of the Mad Emperor, the Crimson King, and, when the rebels managed to defeat the King, Adam Warren lost everything, and gradually descended into madness. A terrible depression, mixed with the use of narcotics, and perhaps also the influence of the Mad Emperor, which had made him lose his mind... A depression that also reached his wife, the last ray of his life.

A woman who used her last strength to give birth to their daughter. Melinda managed to live at the cost of her mother's life, who suffered an internal hemorrhage while giving birth to her. Melinda was born covered in her mother's blood, the healers having to perform a caesarean section on her mother's almost cadaverous body to allow her to come out.

Adam could never love Melinda, for, unfortunately for him, she had the same eyes as Elizabeth, but had taken the love of his life. In doing so, Adam's depression turned to hatred for his own daughter... A hatred that was reflected on Bran, the first son, Adam repeating at will that Melinda was cursed, an infernal spawn that had taken Elizabeth, Bran's dear mother, from them.

Bran beat and humiliated Melinda as much as possible during her youth, and she was used for all of her father's most humiliating chores, under the watchful eye of her brother. If she lingered a little too long scrubbing the floor, she received a whipping. If she was too slow to clean the latrines, she earned the right to have her head plunged into them, or even, when her father's cruelty was at its peak, that is, when he had just lost some business, to be offered excrement at the meal. From these early years, Melinda acquired a deep and visceral hatred towards her family, but especially hated her older brother, Bran, who constantly despised and beat her. However, the fine day came when her father offered her what he had in mind. He explained to her that mages had read in the stars and in the land registers that she would be a magnificent woman, and that he could offer her as a present, if not to the Emperor himself, at least to someone very influential. Over the years, his choice had finally fallen on a rather influential lady of the Court. She wasn't particularly beautiful, no longer fresh, but had a certain taste for young girls, and had promised favors to Melinda's father in exchange for the latter, if she underwent a few small modifications.

The old noblewoman wanted a woman of eternal beauty, and she had little faith in certain potions and elixirs offered by magicians and elves. So she insisted that young Melinda be a vampire. The father, naturally, hesitated, but the old noblewoman was not one of those women who could be made to change her mind. Once she had an idea in her head, it was impossible to make her change her mind, and, willingly or not, the father agreed, using a vampire to transform Melinda. The latter was then sold back to the old woman. Melinda was then completely submissive, dejected, and prostrate, but, contrary to what she thought, the old lady was not willing to abuse her. On the contrary, she wanted to find a way to get rid of Melinda's father, a slaver who was encroaching on the territory of one of her lovers, and, in her mind, somewhat clouded by age, she found it very amusing that the latter was killed by his daughter. So the old lady helped Melinda, using her frustration to transform it into a burning and dangerous hatred. It was during a friendly stay in Melinda's father's harem, organized by her owner, that the latter was able to give free rein to her anger. Despite her frail body, Melinda remained a vampire, and her owner had trained her well. She took cruel revenge on the harem, massacring everyone except her owner and Bran. When the latter ordered her to kill Bran, so that no one would make the connection between this massacre and the old woman, and when Melinda understood that her owner wanted to get rid of her, she killed her too, and took over her father's business. She had terrorized Bran so much that he lied during the testimonies, claiming that the old woman had hired mercenaries to kill his father, and that she had been killed during the fight. And besides, who would have suspected a young girl like Melinda? Apart from Bran, no one knew what she was capable of.

So for centuries, Melinda took over her father's business, making his harem flourish. In essence, not much began to distinguish her from her father. Finding it unfair not to have a male genitalia, finding that it allowed men to dominate the sexual intercourse, she decided to have one grafted onto her, using magic. Since then, Melinda has expanded her activities and, tired of Mijak, has decided to extend her influence to another world. She has traveled to Yoake, where she has purchased a ruined mansion in the affluent hills of the city, a mansion dating back to the time when Westerners first came to settle in Yoake, and uses it as a base of operations.

She poses as a high school student at Jimmu High School, where, with the complicity of the local administration, she has been operating for years. She has become a very influential student there, having slaves among her teachers, and continues to expand her influence, filling her mansion with many slaves who are entirely devoted to her.

Melinda married Vanillia Warren , and founded, following this marriage, a vampire clan on Mijak, the Warren clan . This rapidly expanding clan allowed her to acquire a guild of adventurers, and to further develop her activities. The simple harem keeper has thus become a true vampiric Countess, who has contacts among the high-ranking Mijakian administration, in the person of Samara , and even among the high nobility, since Alice Korvander is a very close friend of Melinda.

As part of the development of her clan, Melinda has begun to vampirize certain people close to her, making her children, in the vampiric sense of the term. She also married Wismerhill, the emperor of Mijak, to acquire significant political power in Terra.

So, Mélinda operates on two worlds : on earth and on Terra, a medieval fantasy world
