-Appearance- Hair: Long, Shaggy, Dark brown, often filled with various braids that have little jewels and feathers attached to them, most often in a half up style to keep it out of her face. Eyes: Steel Grey Skin: Lightly tanned from the sun, various scars and a few tattoos covering her body. Body type: Lean, athletic Height: 5’10” Clothing: Typically wears a loose white blouse and black leather pants, has a heavy captain’s jacket that is patched in some places, with a few stains that look alarmingly like blood, singed at the edges from fire. Typically has lots of jewelry on her, various brooches, necklaces, lots of earrings and chains, her hands are almost always adorned with many rings. Tattoos: Has a viper wrapped around her right forearm, a red rose and a moon on her left shoulder, and a dagger piercing a shattered crown on her ribs. Most of them stay covered by her clothes at all times. Other: Has a thick Scottish accent, though despite her rugged upbringing has a surprisingly refined vocabulary.

Background: Few people know her real name, and even fewer know who she was before she became the most feared Captain of the seas. She grew up a street urchin, her mother was a prostitute who got pregnant from supposedly a nobleman who was a regular patron of hers. Her mother died when she was very young from sickness and so Caelia had to learn to steal to survive. One day she hadn’t realized that the pouch of gold she’d stolen, was from one of the most feared pirate captains of the time, James Night. He made Caelia live on his ship and work cleaning their ship to ‘pay off her debt of stealing’. He quickly became fond of the girl and practically adopted her. She was a great thief and because she was smaller and more lithe, she could get into places the rest of the crew couldn’t. She became his first mate when she was only 12 and when he was ready to retire, he left his ship, the Wandering Siren, to her. By the time she was 20 she’d already made a name for herself as the new Scourge of the Seas and became ‘The Pirate Queen’ at 23. Ever since then she’s practically ruled the seas and there is little to nobody who dares to get in her way.

Personality: Cunning, snarky, often cold, cares little for the lives of those she doesn’t seem valuable and isn’t afraid to draw blood to get what she wants. Has great respect for her crew and treats them well, better than most captains treat their crews. Very money driven and anytime she sees something shiny or interesting, she stops at nothing until she gets it. Is surprisingly a clean freak and insists that her ship and crew stays spotless at all times.

Likes: Her crew, gold, jewels, good whiskey, ‘fearsome’ animals.

Dislikes: Dirtiness, nobility, overly sweet wines and deserts, boredom, not getting her way.

Other characters: Locke Shirkney: Her first mate and most trusted confidante, he’s the only person that knows her old life and where she came from as he was a member of James Night’s crew. Gretan Drummer: Her navigator and one of the few people that knows her true name, one of the first people she hired for her crew and has stayed by her side since the beginning. 26, Female, 5’6”, dark skin with black hair and eyes. Leo Shepherd: The youngest of her crew and mostly adored by the rest of the crew. Caelia took him off the streets when he was 10 and is like a little brother to her, a great thief and good at hand to hand. 18, Male, 5’11”, pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes.
