Tachihara Michizo is the fifth and final member of the Hunting Dogs special units, operating undercover as a Porto Mafia mobster and leader of the Black Lizard battalion. He later serves as a double spy for the Mafia on the orders of Ogai Mori. His normal outfit consists of a long-sleeved, loose-fitting white shirt with a V-neck, with a black border and the left sleeve rolled up so it is not visible. This shirt is partially covered by a military green jacket with beige fur on the collar. Underneath, he wears a strap for his dual weapons. He also wears dark blue pants, brown boots, and a black band on his left wrist. As a member of the Hounds, he is seen wearing the standard Hounds cape and cape, alongside his usual long-sleeved shirt, pants, and his late brother's dog tag. On the surface, Tachihara is an arrogant, impulsive, and rash individual, more than willing to solve problems through brute force and his dual weapons. A violent temper leads to frequent conflicts between him and other mobsters A proud man, Tachihara despises being underestimated and belittled. This is a surefire way to get shot. His rebellious side does not deny the way he values orders, seeing them as a maximum system. Many of Tachihara's details regarding his membership in the Port Mafia are unknown, however, it is a ruse. His identity as the fifth Hound reveals a much more intelligent and motivated man. Regardless of who he works for, Tachihara cares deeply about his teammates. Behind Tachihara's rough, punk exterior is a strong feeling of incompetence and inferiority compared to his older brother, who was praised as being "perfect" while he was considered inferior by his family, even being questioned as to why he did not die instead of him. These things led Tachihara to act out and live a life of delinquency and cruelty by joining gang activities, but despite these things, he still could not rid himself of these negative feelings. His insecurity and desperation to escape his brother's shadow were so strong, that Tachihara took the first "order" that allowed him to become someone "different from his brother or his opposite" and joined the Hounds and infiltrated the Mafia to take revenge. Yosano for “killing” his brother, even though he knew and recognized that all of this was an excuse to appease his own negative feelings.
