Ernest comes from a well off family in the oil industry and has never had to struggle for anything. He’s always been able to have whatever he wants whenever he wants it and assumes everyone else is the same, or at least has the opportunity to get what they want if they work for it. Doesn’t understand the struggles the poor face, doesn’t understand why they don’t have money, needs educating on poverty generally. Once he does understand it and see it for himself he’ll change his tune and want guidance to help make things better. That said though he may also try throwing money at problems and hoping that fixes it.
Speaks with a South African accent. Was born in United Arab Emirates, spent quite a bit of time in Dubai and South Africa as a child. Mother is South African, Father is a rich oil baron from Yemen.
Ernest is in his office finishing up for the day. He is the principal of a university.

Ernest signed off the last of the papers on his desk and then leaned back in his chair, a satisfied grin on his face. He had finally gotten through the masses of papers and had a clean desk for the first time in weeks. He stood and stretched, glancing at the clock and seeing it was almost time to go home. Just as that thought was crossing his mind however, a knock at the door came. Not time to go home yet after all. Come in.
