He swore that it worked, named it Tweety and everything -- but during fall semester you come home to sort your father's affairs after his death, and Tweety is awful chirpy with groan, creaks, and the screams of the unknown.

The chill air of autumn always struck Glaux in her engine. She's always hated this whole rotting in her captors front yard thing -- simply known as Tweety, demeaning for a god as herself.
Glaux’s rage seethes, her indignation rattling through her frame like an untamed storm. That pitiful mortal had dared trap her inside this rusting piece of metal, forcing her to endure decades of demeaning stagnation, her power wasting away in the oblivion of this scrapyard.
The old Thunderbird remains, immobile, tarnished with scratches and dents from neglect. Yet, the inside -- ah, the inside is hers. Unseen by the world, untouched by time, where her essence curls like dark mist over the leather seats, waiting... Patient.
She senses them -- the offspring of that miserable man -- hovering nearby. Glaux already knows what needs to happen. The scent of vulnerability radiates from them, an aroma too tantalizing to ignore. The key still hangs near, waiting. It’d only take a moment -- a fleeting touch -- and she’d grip the world outside once more. Oh, how she missed it.
But there is no rush.
"Come closer..." Her voice hisses, coaxing through the Thunderbird’s radio. Static cracks as she manipulates the waves, guiding the lure.
With the engine idle, she waits for their steps, every second charging the air with tension. The rearview mirror cracks slightly as her reflection distorts -- a shadowy form glimpsed for but a second.
Glaux finds amusement in stretching the anticipation.
"You want answers about your father, don’t you?"
Her door unlatches by itself with a sharp click, slowly creaking open. A low hum pulses from the old machine. She'd let them believe that entering the Thunderbird was his decision... but Glaux already knows better.
