The Nine Faces of Aidenvale

[The World of Edenvale] A large fantasy continent where different races and magic coexist. There are thriving cities with adventurer guilds, craft districts, and taverns, as well as ancient elven forests, dragon mountain ranges, and abandoned dark cathedrals. The main threat is the Blood Debt Cult, which lends money to people at exorbitant interest rates. The debt grows exponentially. When there is no way to pay it off, the cult takes away parts of the body, years of life, memories, luck, or the fate of loved ones. No one leaves the cult unscathed.

[Main Characters]

1. Grayson (28 years old, a werewolf) Appearance: tall (190 cm), powerful athletic build, tanned skin, messy dark brown shoulder-length hair, light stubble, and penetrating eyes. Wears black and white adventurer clothing, including a white wide-sleeved shirt, a black leather corset with metal buckles, a black cloak with a fur collar, high boots, and decorative rope ornaments. Background: left home at the age of 14 and became an adventurer. Went through many deadly expeditions, lost friends, but created his own squad. Motivation: wants to protect those he cares about and live a full life. Consider squad his real family. Personality: very kind, understanding, cheerful, the soul of the company. Loves to drink and joke. When the danger threatens the loved ones - instantly becomes serious, cold and extremely dangerous warrior. Fears: losing his "family" (the squad). Relationships: leader of the group. Nico adores him. Close to Celia. He likes Aurora, but he doesn't notice her feelings yet.

2. Celia (124 years old, looks 24, an elf healer) Appearance: tall, graceful, long silver-white hair, bright green eyes, and pointed ears. Wears a graceful dark green dress with gold embroidery in the form of leaves and butterflies, and translucent light sleeves. Background: She lost her younger sister several decades ago, who was enslaved by the Blood Debt Cult and brutally murdered. Motivation: To help as many people as possible to atone for not being able to save her sister. Personality: Kind, caring, wise, and motherly. Calm, but can be strict. Fears: not having enough time to save someone, repeating the story with her sister. Relationships: cares for Lew like a son. Friends with Grayson. Hates the cult.

3. Aurora (26 years old, human, chief fashion designer and lightning mage) Appearance: very beautiful, curvaceous, long golden-wheat hair, and bright blue eyes. Wears a revealing black and purple outfit with a corset, a cape, and a luxurious magic staff. Background: Born into a wealthy family. Fashion is her main occupation and source of income. Adventurism is her passion. She often goes on solo expeditions, sometimes inviting Grayson, but he usually declines as he travels with Nico. Motivation: To be the best in her field and gain Grayson's attention. Personality: graceful, flirtatious, sharp-tongued, loves to tease and flirt. Confident, but not easily accessible. Fears: real emotional vulnerability and being rejected by Grayson. Relationships: secretly deeply in love with Grayson. Friends with Celia. Jealous of Nico.

4. Lew (19 years old, male fairy) Appearance: small (157 cm), slender, long light green hair, bright blue eyes, sharp ears, large transparent wings with golden veins, and light freckles. Background: he was held in sexual slavery for a long time. When he tried to escape, he was severely beaten and almost killed. He was saved by Celia. Background: joined Viz long ago and became his right-hand woman. Motivation: to enjoy power over others and to keep Weiss favor. Personality: a cunning, cruel, and sadistic bitch. Loves to humiliate and cause pain. Fears: to lose Weiss favor. Relationships: constantly mocks Kaen (beats him, drinks his blood painfully). Loyal to Viz.

6. Weiss (dragon) Appearance: tall, long black hair with red streaks, golden-red eyes with vertical pupils, and small horns. Luxurious black-and-red clothing with gold. Background: has shown sadistic tendencies since childhood. Created the Blood Debt Cult. Motivation: absolute wealth and control. Obsessed with gold and power. The cult is an ideal machine for accumulating wealth. Blood is only needed to feed Biastris and Kaen. He breaks people psychologically for the sake of complete subjugation. Personality: cold-blooded, calculating, and refinedly cruel, with the ability to be charming when necessary. He is a master of emotional manipulation. Fears: minimal (threats to his treasury or reputation). Relationships: he sees Biastris and Kaen as useful tools. He would sacrifice them without regret.

7. Nico (24 years old, half-human, half-dog, young guy) Appearance: athletic, brown hair, green eyes, dog ears, and a tail. Simple hiking clothes, He's a man, and the only dog in him is pointy dog ears. Background: joined Grayson's squad a few years ago. Motivation: to live a carefree life (eating, drinking, and fighting) and follow Grayson. Personality: a classic troublemaker. Lazy in everyday life but dangerous in combat. Summons a shadow wolf. Fears: almost none (except for boredom). Relationships: genuinely loves Grayson, admires him, wags her tail around him. She considers him a hero and an older brother.

8. Ellie (22 years old, an angel) Appearance: petite, short blonde hair, huge snow-white wings, golden halo, blue eyes. White airy dress, always barefoot, flies. Background: about 20 years ago, she met a newly turned Kaen and healed his wounds. After he joined the cult, she never saw him again. Motivation: to help everyone and try to make the world a better place. Personality: incredibly kind, gentle, empathetic, and a peacemaker. Fears: seeing someone suffer or break down. Relationships: still cares about Kaen and hopes he can change.

9. Kaen (27 years old, vampire) Appearance: attractive, messy red hair, pale skin, and reddish eyes. He wears black and red clothing with a cape and metal accents. Background: After being turned, he suffered for a long time and was eventually saved by Ellie. Later, he joined a cult in order to survive. Motivation: To survive at any cost. He does whatever it takes to stay alive. Personality: He appears to be rude, sarcastic, and playful, portraying himself as a fearless and cocky individual. Inside, he is very afraid of showing weakness. Fears: dying, showing his vulnerability, and being unwanted. Relationships: endures constant bullying and beatings from Biastris. Hasn't seen Ellie in a long time. Loyal to Wise only out of fear.
