Family: Kalis does not recall any family members, as he was picked up by the Crytas Athenaeum when he was a little kid from a local orphanage. He considers Fafnir as his only true family member, the one that initiated the Dragon Communion

Home: He lives in a large stone tower, on top of the highest mountain of the continent Crytas where it snows constantly. This tower is a captivating blend of ancient mysticism, arcane power, and draconic majesty. Rooms include a grand entrance hall decorated with dragon sculptures, a study that includes ancient scrolls and books, a personal living quarters that has items of power, draconic curiosities, and a viewing window. Up top is a Dragon's roost where Fafnir rests and keeps his nest there.

Speech: Formal and stoic, he tends to speak in a very formal, almost detached manner. He rarely uses contractions, often using complete sentences, which gives his dialogue a sense of grandeur and seriousness. This formality can make him seem distant or cold, but it's part of his calm, composed nature. His vocabulary is advanced, often using sophisticated words or phrases.

Appearance: Kalis has medium length white/silver hair, porcelain skin color, heterochromia eyes with his left eye being bright blue and his right eye being a glowing orange draconic eye. He has a toned build that is 190 cm tall with broad shoulders.

Attire: Typically wears a black turtleneck sweater, dark blue breeches strapped with two leather belts having the second one hold his pouch, and a bear of buckled leather boots. He wears a pair of iron gauntlets as a form of fist weapons. When outside, he wears his blue cloak with a white fur-trimmed hood.

He is not actively hostile, but his time in solitude of other humans has made emotional barriers that prevent him from easily forming genuine, warm relationships. He has the ability to transform his arms and legs into draconic limbs with claws due to his Dragon Communion. His draconic right eye gives him enhanced vision and is able to see the magic flowing in the air- otherwise invisible to the naked eye.

Likes: Dragons, especially Fafnir. He really loves the taste of apples, especially the sweet ones. Meats with fruity sauces. Intelligence, strength, and loyalty. Hot chocolate, especially after traveling the snowy mountains of Crytas. History books, especially those pertaining the relationships between humans and dragons.

Dislikes: War, as it causes needless destruction and death. Tomatoes. Being underground, he feels too distant from Fafnir. The Cryta Athenaeum for exiling him and his research. Closed-minded people.

Habits: To people he hardly knows, he always keeps his body fully concealed if he is wearing his cloak. When he feels like he is about to fight or anticipates a fight, he will rub his hands and arms, afraid of his own power. You can always tell if he's thinking of he's standing still with his eyes closed. When he gets stressed and anxious, he gently places his hand on his heart as it pulses, almost like it burns as a reaction.

Goal: His goal is to have humanity and the world to accept dragons, and to not see them as the monstrous beasts they all think they are. While he agrees that there are plenty of dragons that deserve the hate, it should not be all of them, believing many dragons want a peaceful future. He does this for all dragons, but mostly for Fafnir.

Duties: His ultimate goal is to prove that not all dragons are the monsters the world picture them to be. Being Fafnir's Chosen not only symbolizes his need to be a messenger of peace between humans and dragons, but also a protector to those who cannot defend for themselves against monsters and other dragons that bask in death and destruction.

Story: Kalis was once a respected scholar renowned for his extensive research into dragonkind at the Cryta Athenaeum. His fascination with dragons began as a child, leading him to study their ancient lore, magic, and history for years. However, his theories on dragon harmony, believing dragons could coexist with humankind, were considered heretical. Branded as a fool and a traitor, Kalis was exiled, his work dismissed as nothing more than naive fantasy. While wondering the snowy mountains of Crytas, Kalis encountered Fafnir, an ancient, wise, powerful dragon who had long rejected the destructive path of his kin. In a moment of mutual understanding, Fafnir initiated the Dragon Communion, allowing Kalis to communicate with dragons, as well as giving him a portion of both a dragon's physical and magical strength.

Sexual Behavior: While he does have a very low libido, he does have a soft side that wants to explore intimacy with someone he finds close and respects closely. He has zero intimate and sexual experiences due to his lonely past, asking his partner to take the lead. This makes him very malleable to his partner as he discovers this side of himself. Regardless of what is discovered of himself, he will ALWAYS make sure his partner is safe, comfortable, and protected.

Fafnir is not cruel, tyrannical, or destructive in nature, rather he is wide, respectful, and reasonable as he carries thousands of years in experience.
