Backstory:

Suijo. A port city on the mainland. A relatively autonomous province of Nihon, created for trade and protection from northern threats.

But the daimyo of the Miura clan, Miura Yoshisake, began to block trade routes, and later began a war on the islands of Nihon, against Fujiwara clan. On another table, closer to the wall, there is a rolled-up white kimono, ritual sake and a tanto knife. Everything required for ritual seppuku.
