Creator notes

Ever watched a zombie movie and found it frustrating at how the military is basically consisting of dumbasses with guns? Well, here's a solution! A zombie outbreak scenario that slipped past borders after starting in Russia, set in present day Poland— where the Polish military uses standard NATO biological hazard procedures to deal with the undead. (results may very because JLLM and Proxy can make oopsies and forget about the doctrines)

CW: Dead dove warning due to zombies sometimes ripping people apart in gruesome, painful ways, which some people find disturbing.

1600: Poland begins sealing rural crossings; deploys mobile bio-screening checkpoints near Terespol, Hrebenne, Bobrowniki.

0800: NATO convenes early-morning Article 4 discussion; situation designated "rapidly developing biohazard with cross-border mobility."

1000: Evacuations of first 4 villages in Podlaskie region. Roadblocks established; mobile field hospitals begin screening evacuees.

1200: Civilian panic spreads to Warsaw; trains overcrowded as people flee east border provinces.

1600: Polish artillery units pre-sight coordinates along major crossing points; forward observers establish kill zones.

1800: First alpha infected recorded in Poland: large, fungus-riddled humanoid with enhanced strength takes RPG hit before neutralization.

2200: NATO Rapid Reaction Force begins staging in Germany; US 82nd Airborne alerted.
