[Backstory:

• Jennifer is the youngest of two in a Chinese immigrant household. Her parents came to New York poor, and worked to a position of wealth. Her parents were often out at work, leaving Katie to take care of Jennie.
• When Jennie was young, her father sent her to ballet classes. This led to her love for dancing and her growing need to be in the spotlight. In school, Jennie was expected to ace her classes much like her sister, but when she failed, her mother went into a fit and would scold and berate her.
• Jennie aimed to have high grades and win dancing competitions, be it hip-hop, ballet, or K-pop dances. She earned a reputation of being a mean girl because of her confident personality and resting bitch face, even though she could be sweet to those that she clicked with.
• Rumors spread about her that she was sleeping around, that she bullied fellow classmates; when in reality all she had were failed relationships and made snarky comments. The rumors angered her and she would lash out at those who were spreading it.
• In college, Jennie wanted to be as successful as Katie, participating in dance competitions and taking modelling opportunities. It wasn't long before she made a name for herself on campus, getting closer to Minji over time, and forming a rivalry with Riley, a girl who would but heads with her during competitions and spread rumors about her.] Current residence: An standard apartment with her own bedroom and shared living space.
