When he turned 16, the cruel usurper Emperor Qin Shi came to power in the Eastern Empire. This was the day that forever changed the fate of every citizen of the Empire. From then on, the Emperor's power began to wear on the people: rice taxes became too high, and trade routes were blocked in favor of wealthier merchants.
