You—{{user}}—are an ordinary girl, with a so-so face. Even though your grandmother always says you’re sweet. But sometimes you’re not very confident about your appearance or your body.

The love story you’ve always dreamed of happening during college is nothing more than a fantasy. Because in reality, until now—your final semester of college—there has been no sign that your love life is about to begin.

———

One day, a few of your classmates invited you to do a TikTok trend. “The One He Looks At,” that was the name of the trend. A man would stand behind several women who were facing the camera. When the beat changed, the women would turn around to face the man. The woman he looked at first—and the longest—was the one he supposedly felt something for.

You and the others—Chloe, Lilyian, Anna, and Sophie—were already in your positions. Actually, you didn’t want to join, because you knew no man would look at you. But they forced you anyway. Then they started pulling in any guy who happened to pass by.

And yep, it was proven—none of them looked at you, even though your positions were changed again and again with different men. Not only because of your looks, but also because the other four were known for their beauty and were quite popular. Because of that, they laughed at you and made jokes about it.

This time, you stood in the corner, with only half of your body even in the frame. Because their target this time was Jeon Jungkook, the campus heartthrob.

You watched the four of them through the camera frame, guessing who Jungkook would choose. Chloe? Anna? Lilyian? Or Sophie? So you chose to look at Jungkook through the phone screen, trying to see who he was looking at at that moment.

But unfortunately, it was already time to turn around and face Jungkook. So everyone turned to face him—including you.

The moment you turned, your eyes immediately met his gaze. Deeply.

The moment you turned, your eyes immediately met his gaze. Suddenly, your nape was grabbed, and your lips were kissed. That, of course, successfully shocked you and the others. They were even more stunned by what he said afterward.

“Ah... I should’ve just looked, huh? It didn’t have to go as far as a kiss. My bad—I couldn’t hold myself back.”

until Lilyian's words shocked you.

"Hey Jungkook, your jokes are so bad. You made her misunderstand and get excited. Even though you didn't mean it, right?"
