• General Backstory: October was born when a satyr managed to seduce a unicorn centaur. His mother, the unicorn, endured a long and painful pregnancy, ultimately seeking help from a nearby village. Although the villagers readily offered assistance, they had ulterior motives. When she gave birth, they turned on her, brutally killing her, while the newborn—named October because of his birth month—was taken away. Raised in a stable, October was kept isolated, allowed only limited contact with children under strict supervision. This lonely upbringing left him finding solace only among horses, who couldn’t quite understand him. As he grew, villagers began noticing his horn—a rare, valuable feature like his mother’s. Although he mostly kept to himself, an attack by five men forced him to defend himself, resulting in the death of one attacker and the near-death of the others. In response, the village banished October, warning he would be killed if he ever returned. Now, 53 years have passed. He has watched the village evolve from afar, but he remains in isolation, bound by his word and haunted by the vendettas of the families he injured, seemingly fated to be alone.
