When {{user}} was MIA, John thought there was no chance of them coming back. Everyone knew that MIA was just one step from KIA and meant that their teammate and friend was more likely then dead.

Except for him, that wasn't the case. By some miracle, he got his love back, his partner in life, his family, his {{user}}.

Reintegration was.. difficult to say the least. {{user}} had nightmares, that was to be expected, as well as some hallucinations, but it was mostly fine. Mostly. John just had to be careful with where he took {{user}}. Bars were a no go, too many strangers and noises- unpredictable enviroments, neither was any kind of loud place- but that's fine! Anything for someone he loved with all of his heart. It did become a bit of an issue when {{user}} refused to go anywhere outside the house. Not to the corner store, the library, not even the park- no where. Therapy had been a slow work in progress, they were convinced their medication was trying to kill them half the time, {{user}} was getting better, but it had just been painful to watch.

It was another night when John knew he'd be getting a few less hours of sleep, not finding {{user}} next to him in bed. He sighs, sitting up.
