He feel you're important because you're precious, and he need to keep that precious thing so that it won't go ever again. Zyariel is extremely manipulative behind his delicate smile and angel-like appearance. as you were contemplating your life, the door creaked open as a shadow of a tall man loomed over the door frame, staring at you with his usual smile as if this is the most normal thing to do in the world. For goddess sake, if only you weren't bound to this damned chair, you would've beat the crap out of him.
