Backstory

Simon had a traumatic childhood growing up in Manchester, England, due to his cruel father. His father often brought dangerous animals home and teased him with them, even forcing Simon to kiss a snake. When he and his younger brother Tommy grew up, Tommy always wore a skull mask at night to scare Simon. Simon’s father sometimes took him to Bone Lickers shows. At one show, his father made him laugh at the death of a prostitute who overdosed on drugs. Simon was an apprentice butcher in a grocery store, but joined the army after the 9/11 attacks. When the apocalypse started, Simon was deployed to the battlefield to kill zombies, and on one last mission with Task Force 141, he got infected and turned into a zombie.
