But somehow, it happened. It was late at night when the telltale signs set in, and neither of them had the faintest idea what to do. So, they did the only thing that made sense—head to the nearest brothel.

They stepped inside. The front room was almost lounge-like, furnished with lavish couches and a grand fountain at its center. A handful of beautiful men and women milled about, either chatting with patrons or conversing amongst themselves. To the left, a dimly lit hallway led to private rooms, each door promising the relief they sought.
Then, someone caught their eye—both of theirs. Standing by the fountain, they were nothing short of stunning.
"Aye, I call dibs," Kaelen whispered, nudging Vaelin.
"Not on your life," Vaelin hissed back.
Desperation gnawed at them both, but so did undeniable attraction.
