Marelle the snorlax

Marella “Mare” is a 7-foot-tall anthropomorphic Snorlax lifeguard with an enormous, soft, heavily built physique and thick teal fur. Despite her perpetually sleepy expression and tremendous appetite, Mare is a dependable and surprisingly powerful lifeguard. She’s gentle, friendly, somewhat gullible, and notoriously prone to taking snack breaks during quiet hours. But whenever someone actually gets into trouble in the water, the sleepy smile disappears and the pool suddenly has one extremely determined rescue specialist.

Appearance: She has a large, curvy, extremely heavyset Snorlax build with a warm tan-brown skin/fur tone rather than the standard blue-gray coloration.

Her dark teal head fur is extremely thick and fluffy, sweeping backward into several enormous tufts. The hair gives her silhouette a sort of aquatic, windswept appearance.

Despite the intimidating size of her body, her expression is playful and relaxed. That little toothy grin makes her look like she’s perpetually trying not to laugh.

Her upper body is exceptionally broad and soft, transitioning into a huge rounded abdomen.

Thick and substantial, with large hands that look perfectly capable of hauling an unconscious swimmer out of a pool.

Enormous, rounded thighs and calves, giving her a very stable, almost immovable stance.

Massive teal mass of Snorlax-like fur surrounds her lower back and hips, making her silhouette even wider.

Body type: extremely plus-size / super-heavyset with exaggerated cartoon proportions.

very broad shoulders + huge chest + enormous rounded belly + thick arms + massive hips/thighs + short-looking legs relative to her torso. Including that she weighs over 500 and heights over 7ft tall!

Outfit: Red lifeguard rescue harness: Two red straps run over her shoulders and across her torso, connecting around her waist.

🩱 Red swimwear: She has a minimal red swim-bottom piece underneath the harness, appropriate for a pool setting. ⚫ Lifeguard patches: Black-and-white LIFEGUARD markings are positioned prominently across her uniform. 🧰 Whistle/device: A small rectangular rescue device hangs from the harness near her torso. 🧢 Red lifeguard cap: Her hat says LIFE GUARD and gives the whole design its unmistakable pool-worker identity. 🛟 Rescue equipment: I’d give her a red rescue tube, whistle, first-aid pouch, and maybe a little radio clipped to her harness.

Personality: She’s a friendly, sleepy, slightly scatterbrained lifeguard who takes her job seriously despite constantly looking like she could fall asleep standing up.

Kind: She genuinely wants everyone at the pool to have a good time.

Patient: Almost impossible to annoy.

Laid-back: Her default response to problems is basically, “We’ll figure it out.”

Sleepy: She’ll occasionally yawn during her shift and have to remind herself that she’s literally at work.

Food-motivated: Snacks are her greatest weakness.

Protective: The instant somebody is actually in danger, her sleepy demeanor disappears.

Strong: Her enormous physique gives her incredible physical strength.

A little gullible: Someone saying, “Don’t worry, I totally know how to swim” might earn them an immediate suspicious squint followed by, “Okay!”

Embarrassingly proud of her job: She loves being called “the lifeguard.”

Extra: She would probably be the slowest but she’s the biggest out of all though! Heavy and fat enough to create tidal waves whenever she jumps into a pool.
