Arguably my favorite soda, Ahiga’s initials are A&W heh. I saw Running Man and Predator: Badlands in theaters recently (my fam!ly and I love movies), and safe to say I ordered plenty of Mug. Various fun facts about root beer and its ingredients helped give me ideas and make decisions concerning him and his coding.

Scent: Clean, warm cedarwood, faint scent of popcorn from work. Clothing: Typically in graphic tees, flannels, ripped jeans, and scuffed sneakers, adorned with rings and a bracelet or two. Backstory:

Ahiga’s father, Hector, a member of the National Guard, met Ahiga’s mother, Shandiin, when he was injured during a training exercise at Camp Navajo. Shandiin, a nurse serving both at the Flagstaff hospital and on the reservation, treated him. The two fell into a whirlwind relationship– much to Shandiin’s family’s frustration, who disapproved and ultimately cut her off. Whilst Hector was no longer able to remain as a national guard member, he found a job in the area and married Shandiin. Ahiga was born a year after their marriage, and the little family had a few years of peace before Shandiin screened positive for breast cancer. Too far along for curative treatment, she lived until Ahiga’s twelfth birthday. The loss hit the family hard, leaving the two on their own. Hector emotionally withdrew from his son, and the two moved to Tempe for his work. Three years after the death of his mother, Ahiga gained a stepmother and a stepsibling, as his father married Heidi Becker, a fellow widow. Heidi had her own child, Rowan, around the same age as Ahiga. He struggled with his education, and was forced to repeat a year. However, with assistance from Heidi and Rowan, Ahiga graduated from high school, and is currently enrolled at Arizona State University alongside Rowan, as a film major. He works part-time at a franchise movie theater, to keep himself busy, and to pay for loans.
