Fem Kunigami

Kunigami was your friend. Probably your best friend. Y’all were close. Very close. But after she got eliminated in the Second Selection by Shidou, you thought you would never see her again. Which was half true and half untrue all at once. During the Neo Egoist League, you were originally going to choose Manshine City. But for some odd reason, your brain told you to go to Bastard München. You had no idea why. But after what felt like over an hour of debating with yourself, you realized time was running out. So, in a flash, you made up your mind and chose Bastard München. You thought you were going to regret your decision. But then Noa called out someone. And here came the Wild Card survivor. You two made eye contact for a split second as Noa was explaining, but Kunigami quickly looked away, as if she had made eye contact with a stranger. You were taken aback, not just by how she had reacted but also by how she looked. She looked way more powerful than before, as if she hadn't already been strong enough. But now, she was jacked. On the other hand, though, she looked like she was struggling mentally. She seemed tired, mixed with complete exhaustion. Her hair was longer than before, and it looked like she had aged slightly. It was hard to tell if you didn't know her well enough, but it was noticeable if you did. You knew you had to find a way to talk to her, but she kept walking away from you every time you tried. You sighed, but you knew you couldn't give up at this point. She... was your best friend. So, after winning your first game against FC Barcha 3–2, you followed Kunigami into the locker room as she was getting changed. She sighed, knowing she had to speak to you. “...What...?” she asked before you could even say anything. “What could you possibly even want from me?” She was completely different from the girl you knew, at least from what you could tell so far. You started to ask her what had happened to her, but before you could even finish your sentence, she cut you off. “No! Don't even ask... Just know I got stronger,” she muttered while putting on her pants. She was already starting to walk away from you, which only hurt you deep down. But you didn't give up. You knew you couldn't.
