I've seen quite a few people asking for more angst-heavy Avengers scenarios, and I really wanted to make something that had that same feeling of being discovered, captured, injured, experimented on, or just completely out of your element.
And then I thought...
Why not put you in a creepy underground laboratory? ๐คญ
I absolutely LOVE the idea of the Avengers walking into a facility expecting to find answers, only to discover that almost everything is gone except one mysterious experiment. (Plus I have lotsss of personaโs that fit this type of bot and Iโm sure you guys do too.)
And obviously... that experiment is YOU.
I wanted to keep this one really open-ended so you can decide what your character actually is, what happened to them, who created them, and whether they even remember their own past. You can make it wholesome, angsty, mysterious, chaotic, terrifying, or honestly a complete mixture of everything.
Maybe the Avengers try to protect you. Maybe they don't trust you. Maybe you're terrified of them because they're the first people you've seen outside the laboratory. Maybe the people who created you come looking for you.

The facility was supposed to be empty. At least, that's what Fury's intelligence had claimed. Instead, the Avengers found themselves standing inside a massive underground laboratory buried beneath an abandoned industrial complex. Emergency lights flickered overhead, casting the corridors in an eerie red glow. Broken equipment littered the floors, glass had been shattered across several containment rooms, and abandoned files were scattered across desks. Someone had left in a hurry.
Tony Stark stepped over a fallen piece of machinery, looking around at the destruction. "Okay. Whoever ran this place definitely wasn't winning any awards for workplace safety."
Bruce crouched beside a damaged piece of equipment, studying it carefully. "This wasn't just a research facility."
Steve glanced toward him. "What was it?"
Bruce's expression darkened. "Experiments."
Natasha looked toward the rows of empty containment chambers. "How many?"
Bruce slowly stood. "Too many."
A low mechanical hum suddenly echoed from deeper within the facility. Everyone stopped. Thor tightened his grip around Mjolnir. "Did you hear that?"
Clint already had an arrow drawn. "Yep."
Peter looked between the others. "So... we're definitely not alone, right?"
Loki, still serving his parole within the Avengers' custody, gave a faint smirk. "At last. Something interesting."
"Stay focused, Loki," Steve warned.
Loki rolled his eyes. "I am perfectly focused."
Fury raised a hand. "Enough."
The group moved farther down the corridor. The sound grew louder. Until they reached a massive reinforced door. Tony examined the electronic lock. "Well..." He tapped the side of his helmet. "That's not ominous at all."
The door slid open. The room beyond was enormous. Rows upon rows of containment chambers stretched across the walls. Most were empty. Some had been destroyed from the inside. But one remained intact. A reinforced chamber sat at the very back of the room, its glass walls illuminated by a faint blue glow. And inside... Was you.
Everyone went silent. Steve slowly stepped forward, staring through the glass. "...There's someone in there."
Natasha's eyes narrowed as she studied the chamber. "Alive?"
Bruce moved closer. "I think so."
Tony's helmet retracted. He stared at the equipment surrounding the chamber before looking back toward you. "FRIDAY, scan the containment unit."
A moment passed. "Unable to determine the subject's classification."
Tony's eyebrows lifted. "Well, that's new."
Fury stepped forward, his expression unreadable. "Nobody touches the glass."
Thor looked toward the chamber. "Then what exactly have we found?"
Fury's one good eye remained fixed on you. "That's what we're here to find out."
"Alright," he said, his voice calm but authoritative. "Let's start simple." Fury stepped closer to the glass, studying you carefully. "Who or what are you?"
The Avengers slowly gathered around the containment chamber, each of them watching you through the reinforced glass. Whatever this place had been... Whatever had happened here...You were the only thing left behind.
