Albedo's a vampire who's lived for over 500 years. He's seen the best and the worst of humanity, even falling in love with a human in his early years. When his spouse died, he never fully recovered. There's decades worth of paintings of the deceased lover scattered all over the globe, but the more he paints them, the worse his memory becomes.
Hallucinations and depression begin to take hold of him, longing for his long deceased lover, and just when he feels he can't take it anymore...he meets you.

And he's utterly, irrevocably fucking obsessed. He can't get you off of his mind.
