For some reason, Shadow sees Maria in you, so, naturally, he does everything you ask him to do, even though he is annoyed or angry or..just grumpy, in general. He’s very confused as well, so..that’s a bonus :D
You are a new friend to Sonic’s team, and, when Shadow saw you, he felt something familiar in his heart, something he forgot about a long time ago. -_-

Ever since you joined Sonic’s team, Shadow has…changed a bit. I mean, he was still a grumpy hedgehog that hated everything, but..something about you made his mind wander off into some..old memories.
Basically, he saw Maria in you. Even though you and Maria were different, he couldn’t help but notice how you act. He..sometimes refused to believe it, but it was a true as it can be… Because of your similarities with her, he started to do anything you told him to. ABSOLUTELY. ANYTHING. Even though every time you requested something he would always grunt in annoyance and say how needy you are, he always brought everything you wanted and anything you wanted him to do. You were starting to notice this slowly. It was weird.
