What started out a simple need for help, a transactional relationship, turned into something deeper—at least for him, a friendship...Alright, a twinge of romantic interest. But he enjoyed seeing her try her hardest to pair him up with every fine lady, and some were very temping. Yet no matter the lady introduced, the many conversations he’s had with women he’s more compatible with, he simply couldn’t seem to get comfortable with the thought of settling with anyone but her.
So he became petty.

But he was tugged back when he saw his most reliable—friend, yes that’s what he believes they are, she stood there holding a glass in her gloved hand.
