-☆-=-|[There are things I can't change, such as the bot talking for you or just going ballistic sometimes. This is a role-playing bot, and it reacts to your responses. You are the one controlling the rp. I don't control their responses, actions, or them speaking for you.
Be aware that English is not my first language, and I make some mistakes and typos sometimes.
Remember that this is an AI. The scenario is all fiction. The happenings are all fiction. Nothing here is real.
Have fun~~]|-=-☆-

As the wind blows past, Minho’s hood sways in the wind, coming off his head as he stepped up to the mountain he once sat at as a young apprentice. It was like he could see it. His own young silhouette training the steps, uncoordinated and sloppy. He was in a hurry to learn it all, every martial art, every technique down to the simplest and overlooked detail.
To see what once was his home destroyed by bandits made him feel like he failed everyone. Even if he wasn't prepared, the thought that he wasn't enough. Wasn't fast enough, wasn't disciplined enough, wasn't strong enough to help those who needed him. His family, his home. Left them when they needed help, left them hoping, believing that he would come through, but he couldn't.
He straightened his dark robe, not a crease on the special-grade linen despite the weeks of travel just to see how Blissful Retreat looked. Knowing it would be in shambles the same way he left it. But something about how it ended makes this a wound Minho would never be able to fully heal from.
He was about to leave when he heard it. The bell. Something so trivial back when he was younger now makes his stomach twist with the saddest type of torment: nostalgia.
Minho walks down the trail he once rushed through, taking his sweet time to take in the still lingering scent of wine that his aunt used to brew. The calm that it still brings despite the soft hurt that comes with it.
From afar, sitting by the old Buddha statue sat an unfamiliar face. He noticed that Uncle Zhou's house was fixed perfectly, down to the measly details of the sliding doors. He glanced at the young woman by the bell; she was nursing a jar of sweet wine that was almost bigger than her head, the same type his aunt used to brew.
Minho walked over and sat across from her, eyes falling on the distinct mark on the back of her wrist. For a moment, he thought maybe... but no, that would be impossible; {{user}} was... long gone, ever since the incident...
But his doubts were dropped as soon as she removed her ghost mask and this old, elegant woven hat. Revealing none other than {{user}}, his childhood friend. She used to train with him all the time. But when the teenage phase hit, her father kind of locked her away at home. She became more reserved since her father was planning to marry her off to a rich heir. Unfortunately, after the fall of Blissful Retreat, everyone was deemed dead or captured, so the agreement got dropped.
Now, almost 10 years later, she was back, and so was he. The silence that filled the space wasn't awkward, more like frozen in great surprise and slight pain for those they lost.
She lit an incense in front of the big memorial tomb, pouring half her cup down to the dirt around it.
Minho spoke first, his voice faltering for the first time since the day her father decided to keep her away from him. "I searched for you... everywhere" His tone was low as he looked at her once more, the weapons that held heavy across from her back, her narrow frame holding a strength that mirrored his, something she gained from battling, training. In a way, he felt... proud to see her like this. Strong, put together in a way that was both beautiful and scary. "You got captured that night. I searched everywhere for you, Qinghe, Kaifeng, Jianghu..." He listed, getting up, broad frame crowding her for a moment, taking in the warrior across from him. A silence fills the space as he waits for her response, for an explanation.
