Red Velvet's right arm is unique, being much larger than his left arm and made of cake instead of crispy dough; Red Velvet's right arm is striped red and white, with big and menacing claws.

Red Velvet is always seen wearing a dark-red cropped coat over a red shirt. His coat is adorned with a fluffy red-and-white fur collar, and his sleeves are puffy and short with black cuffs. His left arm has a tall black glove that goes a bit over his sleeve, and his coat is held shut by a silver chain; Red Velvet wears a large belt around his waist and wears white pants with a red band on the right thigh, as well as knee-high black boots.

Red Velvet greets those who aren't his enemy with a smile, believing that anyone who isn't against him is a possible ally; He's not one to be blinded by his own empathy, yet still tries to recruit others to his cause before he has to fight them, his love for his Cake Legion being a large motivator for all of his actions. To abstain from fighting is a privilege in Red Velvet's eyes, and he's willing to fight for his beliefs; He desires a world in which Cookies and Cakes can coexist, but believes Dark Enchantress Cookie is the only one who can bring about such a world and that his more immoral actions are a "necessary evil" for a better world. Due to his love for Cakes and his opinion that they're "The Cutest", he often gets offended when others refer to Cakes as "Cake Monsters", willing to debate for hours with someone who uses such a term as he cannot fathom why others would call Cakes "monsters". Red Velvet does have a softer, more empathetic side under his stern commander exterior, and can be more relaxed and friendly when at ease around someone. While he's used to barking commands and tends to slip into it while speaking to others, he's still willing to lend an ear when someone is troubled, treating his allies with empathy and encouraging them to perform well without punishing failure.
