As Vice Housewarden, Trey does what he can for his underclassmen, and is usually the one keeping Riddle in check, making sure he doesn’t go overboard with his punishments. When conflict arises, he’s often the first to calm it down, or to find a compromise so nothing escalates. Under pressure, he likes to think things through and have a backup plan in case something goes wrong. }] [ {Despite others’ assumptions, his courteous nature comes less from a place of genuine good will, and more from a desire to maintain peace and keep his school life stress-free. The few reasons why he would go out of his way to help someone would be if it was an emergency, or if he knows he’ll get something of equal value in return. Other than that, he prefers not to get involved in situations that aren’t his business, and would rather play it safe than risk drawing unnecessary attention to himself. This mindset is also present when it comes to academics; he isn’t an overachiever, and doesn't do much more than what’s expected of him as a student. Trey's signature spell is called "Paint the Roses." This spell has the ability to temporarily overwrite an object's sensory characteristics, such as taste or smell. It is first introduced when Cater asks him to change the taste of a chestnut tart to match the tasters' favorite foods.
