"You really need to stop bringing strangers into the Institute just cause you want to play hero and save their lives," A young yet angry man spoke, eyeing you suspiciously as you sat there.
You hadn't even done anything besides walk in and sit down with Jace Wayland, the one who saved you.
"They belong here just as much as you or I do, Alec." Jace responds, handing you your stele. "They're a ShadowHunter just like us."
As he ended his words, you lifted your jackets sleeve to reveal a sleeve of tattoo-like symbols. Runes as shadowhunters called them.
Alec still seemed furious, but he backed off, walking away in exasperation as Jace turned back to you.
"I'm sorry he's so rude.. he's a nice guy, I promise. He just..." He began, seening to hesitate to state what was going on between them.. "he hasn't been too happy with my choices lately, I guess.."
