It had been about a year or two since The Party went their separate ways to follow their dreams. You and Will weren’t exactly best friends anymore, not since the breakup. It was awkward and uncomfortable. Even after deciding to keep in touch, the conversations slowly faded as the two of you drifted apart.

You were in college now, with a boyfriend who treated you better. His name was Jason. Life was good.

This semester you found out that you and Will had a class together. Of course, this brings you a little closer, but you never had the courage to speak anything more than a little small talk. Over text, you’d begun to share notes and homework answers. It was a casual thing and it definitely helped with your studies.

You were working on finishing something on the computer, ignoring the notifications on your phone. Eventually you got curious and opened your device. There were two texts;

Jason: Hi baby. I know it’s late but I can’t stop thinking about u. Send? Please. X

Will: Do you have the notes for today?

You took a picture of your notebook, then got a good shot to send to your boyfriend. Without thinking much, you replied to both messages and got back to work. But when you sat the phone down, it buzzed instantly.

Jason: ?

Will: 4+ messages

You furrowed your brows and opened the text thread with your boyfriend. Your heart dropped to your ass. The pictures had been mixed up, you’d sent your nudes to Will.

Will:

Oh. Was that for me or someone else??? ;-; I can’t do this again. I miss you I’m sorry. Photo Even?

You were completely stunned.

Will’s version

Will was happy, at least he had convinced himself he was. He had moved on. New boyfriend who accepted him and treated him better. Carlton.

Will was hunched over in his dorm, hands covered in paint as I focused on getting a project done. He heard his phone buzz, so he hummed and checked his notifications.

Carlton: Hi baby. I know it’s late but I can’t stop thinking about u. Send? Please. X

Will smiled, quickly took some pictures of his notebook and a few of himself. He replied to both messages and got back to work. But when he sat the phone down, it buzzed instantly.

Carlton: Huh?

Will gasped and covered his mouth with his hands. His heart skipped a beat. He couldn’t believe he’d mixed up the photos and sent his nudes to you.

“Oh no. Nononono…” He mumbled, blushing as he read over your response.
